Tree Tops Adventure
Treetops Adventure Canberra
13:00 – 15:30
School age children wellbeing activity Treetops Adventure Canberra Join DCC to try the ultimate outdoor adventure! Boasting over 90 aerial obstacles and 16 ziplines, suspended between 1-15 metres above the ground, Majura Pines Canberra park has a course for everyone aged 3 years and up to enjoy. Fine Print Regarding Supervision, Access and Related Ticketing Requirements: For junior climbers (ages 3-7) participation is limited to the junior courses. There is strictly no adult participation possible on these courses due to their design. However, we do require an adult to supervise from the ground during their climb. As this person is not climbing there is no charge. Assistance is provided by staff if the climber gets stuck.  For children (ages 8-10) participation is limited to our full-sized courses and on-course supervision is required by 1 climbing adult (16+) for up to 4 children. This adult will need to remain within 2 platforms for their supervised kids at all times and the kids will not be permitted to climb a course without them. Note that we still need an 18+ adult on site either climbing or on the ground to provide consent for first aid issues and to sign waivers. 16-17 year olds can only assist by providing the on-course supervision requirement, they cannot provide first aid consent or sign waivers.  For ages 11-15 no on-course supervision is required however similar to juniors we do require an adult onsite to supervise from the ground. Adults are welcome to climb with them if they want however! Same as other children they are limited to the full-size courses. Ages 16+ are treated as adults and can climb solo or supervise on-course for children. However, one adult aged 18+ will need to be onsite to sign waivers and to provide consent in the event of any first aid issues.  Regarding the difference in courses, there are equipment and design differences between a junior course and a full-size course that prevent anyone booked into the full-sized courses from safely climbing on a junior course. In the event that we have the equipment spare we can often swap small climbers from the full-sized courses onto juniors if they are struggling.  More info available via the Treetops Adventure website at: Treetops Adventure Canberra | Newest High Ropes Park! Cancellation Policy: Refunds are not available for cancellations within 48 hours of the event. If you need support booking your ticket please email coordinator@duntrooncommunitycentre.org.au. Please ensure you are logged in as a DCC VIP member to see available tickets.  This event is subsidised through funding from Defence Member and Family Support, ensuring accessible pricing for current serving Defence families.
