Celebrate Christmas in July with a Gingerbread House Making Workshop for Families with the Duntroon Community Centre. A Gingerbread Folk Kit and lollies will be provided for you to make your own Gingerbread House. Collect your kit and create at home! Send us a photo of your finished product!  Kits can be collected from the centre on Friday 3rd July between 9:30am - 1:30pm or on Monday 6th July between 3pm - 5pm. Sarah from Three and You Photography is joining us on Friday 3 July to capture some special family moments for members of our Bubs and Bumps group! Book your place today! 10 minute mini session (for up to 6 people per family group) 10 images will be captured and edited Choose from 3 images to download (included) OR upgrade for an additional fee payable to Three and You Photography to receive all images No refunds will be offered for cancellations that occur within 24 hours of the event After your purchase you will receive a link to confirm your booking via Three and You Photography's online system. Duntroon Community Centre Creche The Duntroon Community Centre offers a creche service every Friday from 9:45 am to 12:45 pm during ACT school terms. Children are cared for in the playgroup room with our qualified staff, giving parents and carers a chance to relax and recharge at the Centre, use our hot desking spaces, or join our Bubs & Bumps group. Please note: Carers must remain on-site at DCC and be contactable throughout the session.   Please ensure your child arrives with sun protection, weather appropriate clothing and a labelled lunch box and drink bottle   To access this service you will need to become a 2026  VIP Member at Duntroon Community Centre | TidyHQ Before attending the creche, you’ll need to complete a registration form outlining the session's requirements and rules. No credits or refunds will be given for missed or cancelled sessions for any reason. Sickness & Illness Policy: To keep our little ones safe, children with infectious illnesses (e.g., colds, flu, COVID-19, conjunctivitis, diarrhoea, vomiting) or any other illness including rashes, worms, head lice, and ear infections cannot attend creche. We reserve the right to refuse entry if signs of illness appear during care. In emergencies, DCC may seek medical assistance, and the parent/guardian agrees to cover any associated costs.  If your child shows distress or discomfort—or needs a nappy change or toileting support—you’ll be contacted promptly. By booking, you agree to our sickness and illness and cancellation policies. Please note if you wish to purchase 10 weekly sessions we are able to provide you with an invoice to minimise fees to DCC. *Due to rain forecast this activity has been postponed until Tuesday 4th August* Join DCC at the National Zoo and Aquarium on Tuesday 30th June.  You can join us on the day or purchase your tickets as a part of our DCC group but enjoy the visit with your family for the afternoon. Family Tickets include entry for 2 adults and up to 3 children (aged over 3 years). This ticket option can be shared with another family but all  group members must enter at the same time to maintain the adult:child ratio listed on the tickets. Please note this activity may be cancelled and rescheduled due to wet weather. Refunds will not be offered for cancellations given with less than 24 hours notice. Join us for an exciting evening of trivia, laughter, and community spirit—all in support of the Duntroon Community Centre!    📅 Date: Saturday 13th June ⏰ Time: 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM 📍 Location: Duntroon Sergeants Mess (All services and ranks welcome)   Your ticket includes: Trivia rounds packed with fun & prizes Delicious woodfired pizza, cooked fresh at the Mess – You're welcome to bring additional snacks. Beverages available for purchase – EFTPOS only.  This adults-only event is the perfect opportunity for a fun night out, and we've made it easy for parents with on-site kids club available for children aged 3 years and older. Details announced soon. Babes in arms and little ones under 12 months in prams are welcome to attend with parents.
