Duntroon Community Centre Creche The Duntroon Community Centre offers a creche service every Friday from 9:45 am to 12:45 pm during ACT school terms. Children are cared for in the playgroup room with our qualified staff, giving parents and carers a chance to relax and recharge at the Centre, use our hot desking spaces, or join our Bubs & Bumps group. Please note: Carers must remain on-site at DCC and be contactable throughout the session.   Please ensure your child arrives with sun protection, weather appropriate clothing and a labelled lunch box and drink bottle   To access this service you will need to become a 2026  VIP Member at Duntroon Community Centre | TidyHQ Before attending the creche, you’ll need to complete a registration form outlining the session's requirements and rules. No credits or refunds will be given for missed or cancelled sessions for any reason. Sickness & Illness Policy: To keep our little ones safe, children with infectious illnesses (e.g., colds, flu, COVID-19, conjunctivitis, diarrhoea, vomiting) or any other illness including rashes, worms, head lice, and ear infections cannot attend creche. We reserve the right to refuse entry if signs of illness appear during care. In emergencies, DCC may seek medical assistance, and the parent/guardian agrees to cover any associated costs.  If your child shows distress or discomfort—or needs a nappy change or toileting support—you’ll be contacted promptly. By booking, you agree to our sickness and illness and cancellation policies. Please note if you wish to purchase 10 weekly sessions we are able to provide you with an invoice to minimise fees to DCC. Join in a fun craft workshop with our Capital Crafters at the Duntroon Community Centre. Be guided by our volunteers and choose to make - a table runner, a drawstring bag or a Christmas stocking to take home with you. How many items you create will be dependent on time. Please note that materials and patterns will vary. Bring along your own sewing machine or register to use one of ours.  Morning tea & lunch provided. Please advise of any dietary requirements upon booking your ticket. This workshop is intended for beginners and children aged 7+ years, adult supervision and assistance is required. DUNTROON COMMUNITY CENTRE HALLOWEEN TRICK OR TREATING HOW TO PARTICIPATE Attach the provided balloon to your letterbox or decorate your house with your spookiest Halloween ideas if you want our trick or treaters knocking on your door *Email coordinator@duntrooncommunitycentre.org.au to mark your house on the trick or treating map *Donations of lollies will be provided to participating houses.  If you are attending, please consider making a donation of a packet of (individually wrapped) lollies for participating houses. These can be dropped off at the Duntroon Community Centre from week 1 of term 4 (13th October) EVENT DETAILS Register and check in at the Sergeants Mess first. Get a lucky door prize raffle ticket. Receive a trick or treating map! Join us at DCC for a monthly morning tea.  Meet our members, trial our programs, connect with stakeholders and enjoy a tea/coffee/hot chocolate and some morning tea. Adult wellbeing event: for adults, partners or couples to participate without children Join DCC for our second year - Clay Target Shooting at the Majura Park Gun Club.  Everything will be provided for your clay target shooting experience: Safety briefing Full tuition by instructors Over and under shotgun Shooting vest 25 cartridges (ammunition) 25 clay targets Hearing protection We will have light refreshments available for attendees. Please advise of any dietary requirements upon booking. Conditions/more activity information is available at the Majura Park Gun Club website. Sandals, thongs, high heels, singlet tops or camouflage gear are NOT permitted while participating. Participants must always be able to follow the instructor’s directions. Any apathy towards the instructor will not be tolerated. Participants will not be able to partake if they are (or it is believed to be) under the influence either alcohol or drugs. Safety is always our primary concern followed by fun and smashing clays ! Majura Park Gun Club | Home Cancellation Policy: Refunds are not available for cancellations within 48 hours of the event. Stallholders are invited to showcase their small business/organisation to members of the Duntroon Community Centre during our annual Christmas event.  Saturday 21st November at Duntroon House Gardens and Lawn 11am - 2pm.
