Join in a fun craft workshop with our Capital Crafters at the Duntroon Community Centre.  Be guided by our volunteers and choose to make - a scrunchie, a book mark, a drawstring bag or a Christmas stocking to take home with you. How many items you create will be dependent on time. Please note that materials and patterns will vary. Bring along your own sewing machine or register to use one of ours.  Morning tea & lunch provided. Please advise of any dietary requirements upon booking your ticket. This workshop is intended for beginners and children aged 7+ years, adult supervision and assistance is required.

Special Event: encouraging wellbeing and appreciation Celebrate Spring and enjoy an afternoon out with the Duntroon Community Centre and Solid Rock Ministry. We will have a Luxe Picnic setup at Duntroon House Garden including afternoon tea. Tea and coffee will be available as well as a refreshing beverage! Try out some lawn games and get to know members of both our community groups. This is a seated adult event, however we welcome babes in arms.  Please register one ticket for each participant attending. Please advise of any dietary requirements upon booking your ticket. Build your village, create friendships, and enjoy a complimentary morning tea while joining our safe and welcoming support group. Join the Capital Crafters Craft Group at Duntroon Community Centre! Capital Crafters is a friendly weekly gathering for Defence, veteran, reservist, and non-defence community members. Whether you're new to crafting or a seasoned maker, you'll find connection, creativity, and community in an inviting, social atmosphere.  Relax with a cup of tea or coffee, meet like-minded people, and share ideas while working on your own project—or try something new with our many organised craft activities throughout the year.  When: Tuesdays & Thursdays: 9:30am–12:30pm First Saturday of each month for all-day craft: 9:30am-2:30pm Sessions run during ACT school terms. What’s included: Term fees cover facility use, kitchen amenities, and maintenance of craft resources. Duntroon Community Centre is excited to host our event with Mountian Strong testing your skills Rock Climbing. Join us for a fun after school afternoon learning the techniques used in scalling big and small walls.  Your ticket includes the climbing session (unlimited time) and the climbing shoe rental. We will be given a run down and how to by the proffesional staff and then we can climb freely.
