DCC goes to Canberra Miniature Railway! Come along and enjoy a family fun day out while riding the different miniature steam trains.  Sunday 28th August, 1030am, Sausage Sizzle lunch provided We'll be siting in a  party area, please bring camp chairs to sit on and/or picnic blanket. Tickets- All day ride tickets= $10 per person. Children under 2 ride free with a ticketed Adult. Children 3 & 4 yo require their own ticket and must be accompanied by an adult. If you do not intent to ride on the trains, there is no charge to attend. All day ride wrist bands are non transferrable between members. PLEASE ensure you wear enclosed footwear to ride the trains; no open toed shoes, "flip flops", etc. If the event is rained out, tickets will either be refunded or transferred to another day. Babysitting on Thursday's DCC is pleased to offer babysitting services to members. You must stay on the premises during the 3 hours however you're welcome to sit in the Centre, read a book, catch up on personal admin or join our Thursday craft group.  Your child/children will be cared for in an adjoining room by qualified Early Childhood Educators, who have been interviewed and chosen by the DCC Committee.  Enjoy some well-deserved time away to recharge.

Jo from 11:11 Health and Wellbeing Molongo will run a 6 week Yoga course at the centre or via zoom. Jo is trained in  ISHTA system ( intergrated syste ISHTA system (Integrated System of Hatha, Tantra and Ayurveda) 200hr and Yin Yoga 75hr.. Her classes are gentle flows to get energy moving followed by floor based poses to stretch and release tension, intensity and pace can be adjusted based on attendees preferences and experience.  She has  been teaching for 2 years and  been practicing  Yoga for 20 years CASUAL CLASSES AVAILABLE Date- 16th, 23rd,30th August 6th, 13th, 20th September Time-7pm Location- DCC or online via zoom. Cost- $15 per class

Do you have an appointment coming up, feel like shopping for a couple of hours childfree or get your hair done, would you like to catch up with friends for a chat and a hot cup of freshly brewed coffee?    Duntroon Playschool can assist you as we will be offering casual sessions in term 3.    Important Information: Casual Sessions will only be available to children who are currently attending Playschool & under our licence, children cannot attend playschool more than three days per week (so if your child is currently enrolled for three days you will not be eligible).  Available days will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Members led group.  Term Dates are 5th August , 19th August, 3rd September, 17th September This playgroup session is for 0 to 5 year olds only.  You must be a Member to take part in this program. 2022 membership fee is $25 per family.  Please ensure you assist with the clean up at the end of the session.
