Vision boarding is both a fun activity and a great visual reminder to help you connect to what's most important to and what you want in the future. We'll be putting all the attention back on you and when you walk out the door you will know where and what to place your energy on.  This is what we are getting up to; Identify your values the foundations to helping you set goals Guided Visualisation Meditation (No meditation experience require) Create your own fun vision board to stay inspired  Choose a theme for the next 12 months and write down some goals You'll leave feeling inspired and ready to jump into action. Light healthy snacks will be provided. Wear something comfortable. 

Come along to our virtual craft session where you can craft, chat and enjoy a coffee with friends even while at home during this lockdown.  Zoom catch ups will be held weekly during the lockdown using the same meeting link. There will be a seperate link for Tuesday and Thursday. Both links will be emailed to all registered Wednesday evening. 

Each week during lockdown we invite our MBBs group to join via zoom to connect and chat.  Zoom link will be sent via email on Tuesday 17 August at 8:30 pm. 

Duntroon Community Centre are putting on a Kids Movie Afternoon for children, ages 7 - 14 years old. We will be showing How to Train your Dragon 2 on the big screen with popcorn and afternoon tea included.  This is a DCC supervised event, allowing parents to drop the kids off for 2 hours of supevised activity.  Afternoon tea will be provided and is included in the ticket price.    Non members are welcome at this event.

Join us on Friday, 13 August 2021 for a "Paint & Sip" Online Painting Class.   This class is run by a experienced teacher "Life with Paint".  It's a fun, creative 2 hours connecting with others online. Places are limited. DCC Member Price $15.  Price includes all supplies and the class.  The painting we will be doing can be seen above. Class is run via Zoom and link will be forwarded to you closer to the date. 

Rug up and bring your partner along to our next social dinner at Civic Pub in Braddon on the 30th July. This will be an opportunity to meet new people, enjoy some good food and conversation. New faces are always welcome. Reserve your spot now!

Join The Hub on Thursday.   The Hub on Thursday is held each fortnight, in the evening from 7.00pm during the ACT school term.  The first session for Term 3 will be held on Thursday 22 July 2021. The Hub is a focus for working partners and young adults together.  It will allow you to connect with others, make new friendships and work on a creative project.  You can bring along your own projects that you are working on or come along to get some ideas.  For example, writing, art, drawing, sewing, knitting, crochet, cross stitch, memory keeping. The first 3 sessions are come and try.  After these sessions you will need to become a member of the centre at $35 per year (2021 Memberships) Check in required by "Check in CBR" app for COVID requirements. Petrina Carpenter, Pathways Officer with Soldier On will be sharing information on the programs and events offered by Soldier On to the Defence community. Specifically she will discuss the Pathways program and how you can access their services.

Join our Mums, Bubs & Bumps.  Come along to meet and connect with other Mums with bubs (babies up to 12 months of age) & Mums to be at the Centre on a Wednesday Morning.
