Sarah from Three and You Photography is joining us on Friday 3 July to capture some special family moments for members of our Bubs and Bumps group! Book your place today! 10 minute mini session (for up to 6 people per family group) 10 images will be captured and edited Choose from 3 images to download (included) OR upgrade for an additional fee payable to Three and You Photography to receive all images No refunds will be offered for cancellations that occur within 24 hours of the event After your purchase you will receive a link to confirm your booking via Three and You Photography's online system. Please note for there will be no BBs on Friday 8th May due to our Mother's Day High Tea event Whether you are pregnant, just had your first bub, or this is your 2nd/3rd/4th rodeo - we would love to welcome you to our Bubs and bumps group at the Duntroon Community Centre. Build your village, create friendships, and enjoy a complimentary morning tea while joining our safe and welcoming support group. Led by our volunteer facilitator we meet every Friday from 10 am to 12 pm during the ACT school terms.  This group is best suited to expectant mothers and carers with infants up to 12 months of age or when a child is walking and no longer happy to remain on a designated soft mat area. Siblings aged 1 to 5 are welcome to visit our Creche program on Fridays from 9.45 am - 12.45 pm (separate booking required). ***** Try our group, sign up as a DCC Trial member and visit us before purchasing a program pass and membership.  If you wish to continue to attend MB&Bs please join as a DCC 2025 VIP Member and purchase a 10-session program pass for $20. To help DCC direct 100% of fees to resources and programming, please pay by EFTPOS or cash in person to avoid an online processing fee. Please be aware that our staff and volunteer facilitators will be monitoring attendance and will follow up on this requirement.  No credits or refunds for the program pass will be provided due to cancellation for any reason. Duntroon Community Centre Creche The Duntroon Community Centre offers a creche service every Friday from 9:45 am to 12:45 pm during ACT school terms. Children are cared for in the playgroup room with our qualified staff, giving parents and carers a chance to relax and recharge at the Centre, use our hot desking spaces, or join our Bubs & Bumps group. Please note: Carers must remain on-site at DCC and be contactable throughout the session.   Please ensure your child arrives with sun protection, weather appropriate clothing and a labelled lunch box and drink bottle   To access this service you will need to become a 2026  VIP Member at Duntroon Community Centre | TidyHQ Before attending the creche, you’ll need to complete a registration form outlining the session's requirements and rules. No credits or refunds will be given for missed or cancelled sessions for any reason. Sickness & Illness Policy: To keep our little ones safe, children with infectious illnesses (e.g., colds, flu, COVID-19, conjunctivitis, diarrhoea, vomiting) or any other illness including rashes, worms, head lice, and ear infections cannot attend creche. We reserve the right to refuse entry if signs of illness appear during care. In emergencies, DCC may seek medical assistance, and the parent/guardian agrees to cover any associated costs.  If your child shows distress or discomfort—or needs a nappy change or toileting support—you’ll be contacted promptly. By booking, you agree to our sickness and illness and cancellation policies. Please note if you wish to purchase 10 weekly sessions we are able to provide you with an invoice to minimise fees to DCC. Join the Capital Crafters Craft Group at Duntroon Community Centre! Capital Crafters is a friendly weekly gathering for Defence, veteran, reservist, and non-defence community members. Whether you're new to crafting or a seasoned maker, you'll find connection, creativity, and community in an inviting, social atmosphere.  Relax with a cup of tea or coffee, meet like-minded people, and share ideas while working on your own project—or try something new with our many organised craft activities throughout the year.  When: First Saturday of each month for all-day craft: 9:30am-2:30pm What’s included: Term fees cover facility use, kitchen amenities, and maintenance of craft resources. Some activities, such as use of the quilting or Cricut machines or specialty materials, may involve an additional cost. Kids Cooking Class at DCC 11am-12:30pm Join Leanne from Nutrition Australia for some hands on fun making sushi and nutritional smoothies at DCC. The class is intended for children aged 8+ years. Without parent participation, children will independently prepare their own lunch of sushi and fruit smoothies. Parents or guardians are required to sign children in at the commencement of the class, attend a brief introduction, and remain onsite during the workshop. At the conclusion of the session, families are invited to reconvene to enjoy and share the food prepared by the children. Please register one ticket for each person participating in the activity No refunds will be available for cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice. If you are unable to see available tickets please ensure you are registered as a 2026 DCC member and logged in to your TidyHQ account. Capital Crafters: Beginners/Childrens Quilting Workshop

We invite children aged 7 - 16 year old, and beginners to join our Capital Crafters group at Duntroon Communtiy Centre to learn how to make a beautiful handmade quilt. Guided by talented and experienced quilt makers, participants will make a quilt similar to the one in the picture above. Parental supervision is required (older teenage children's supervision can be negotiated prior to the day) and feel free to bring your sewing machine along should you like to, however you are able to book the use of one of our machines should it be required prior to the day. All materials are included in the ticket price, including quilting using our quilting machine. Please note that the colours and patterns may vary from the quilt pictured.  Lunch and morning tea will be supplied on the day. Please advise any dietary requirements upon booking.   Please make sure you are logged in to TidyHQ to see any available tickets. If you need any assistance in securing tickets please email coordinator@duntrooncommunitycentre.org.au Please note that at least 24 hours notice is required for ticket cancellations in order to receive a full refund. Celebrate National Families Week with DCC! Gather your crew and join us at Kingpin Canberra for an afternoon of bowling, arcade games, food and quality family and friends time.  Your ticket includes 1 game of bowling in a shared lane of up to 6 other DCC community members, 1 hour of arcade time on red and yellow machines as well as food to share.  Please indicated any dietary requirements upon booking, please specify the number of people who have dietary requirements if booking more than 1 ticket.
